salt water cubed

Sometimes I buy things at second hand shops just for the packaging. Case in point, this Battleship playset circa 1952, where father and son bypass dish duty to strategically sink each other’s submarines.

I really enjoyed playing this plastic game of navy warfare, but sold it for a quick buck at a yard sale last week. I can’t let go of the box cover quite yet…it’s too exciting!
