the future is colourful

A couple months back, I was asked by Oxford American to illustrate what architecture might look like 40 years from now, as part of their future-themed issue.

After much playing around, I came up with a future version of the lost city of Atlantis.

The brown sea urchin structures show our continued exploration into Biomimicry, while the organic outer-laced skyscrapers demonstrate our ongoing efforts in recycling existing buildings; some of which date as far back as 2010! Gosh, those were the days….

    Wow. I knew you had talent, but I must admit I didn’t know how much! Although I think all of these works are so lovely, this one is my favorite. Very nice lady. xo
