My very first pet as a child was a white rabbit named Floppsy.

My dad had constructed a spacious cage in his workroom for her out of scrap boards and chicken wire. And there my sister and I would poke carrot sticks through the door and marvel at her chewing abilities.

Admittedly I can’t remember much about Floppsy, except that my mother used to sweep up her droppings and toss them into the many potted plants scattered about our house. An early lesson in fertilization.

This piecce reminds me of reading Bunnicula as a child. What a classic that one was. Good work, Ash!
