Here are some new illustrations I did for the June/July issue of Wild (The Canadian Wildlife Federation‘s magazine for kids), on backyard camping.
I think it’s kind of backwards that since moving to the city I’ve been exposed to way more wildlife than I ever did growing up in the suburbs of Whitby/Oshawa. I don’t remember spotting any raccoons or even bats in my old backyard, but maybe that has more to do with my once ridiculously early bedtime of 7:30pm. I clearly remember my mom pulling down my bedroom blinds to keep the sun out that was still shining strong at that hour! Gosh, isn’t it great to be an adult!
